The Daily Record has surpassed itself with a claim that Alfredo Morelos has been offered to Inter Milan!

What the appeal would be to the Italian giants of an out of condition striker with a history of disciplinary problems is difficult to work out.

A podcast by a group of Inter fans threw up the suggestion that the summer sale of central defender Milan Skriniar resulted in Morelos being discussed as a transfer option for the club sitting in fourth place in Serie A.

Putting 2 and 2 together to come upwith 222, the Record reports:

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has reportedly been “offered” to Inter Milan as the striker’s agent Alejandro Camano looks to seal a pre-contract agreement.

The Colombian has enjoyed a run in the Ibrox starting line-up following the arrival of Michael Beale after falling out of favour under Gio van Bronckhorst, with both Antonio Colak and Kemar Roofe struggling for fitness since the arrival of the Londoner to the Scottish Premiership.

While netting four goals since his second chance under Beale, the 26-year-old has struggled to find his best form and peak fitness this term with his contract set to expire in the summer.

It leaves Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson with a tough call over the Ibrox talisman as he weighs up a January sale or offering the player a new contract, but Camano is reportedly looking to take the decision out of the Light Blues’ hands. Italian outlet Sportmediaset report that Morelos was top of agenda when the agent met with Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio this week.

Camano appears to be attempting to negotiate a move away from Serie A for Argentina World Cup star Lautaro Martinez at the end of the campaign. The report suggests Morelos has been offered as a solution to Inter if a pre-contract move can be agreed.

Asked about the meeting with the Inter chief in Milan, Camano was playing his cards close to his chest over which players were on the agenda. He said: “It was just a courtesy visit. I have several players as clients, and I just came here to talk about football. I won’t name any names, Piero is aware of the transfer market and evaluating players.”

With no suggestion of a new contract offer from Wilson it looks likely that Morelos will be moving back to Colombia when his Ibrox deal expires.

    Whit are Milan like ?
They’re so fussy wanting their players to be fit and hungry.
Perhaps his agent heard the word hungry and thought “I have the very player for them!!”

DR and ET to replace Beano and Dandy very shortly. What happens when you get sick of the lies?
p.s. Google Lawwell and you’ll see that he attended the “Local Comprehensive” for his Secondary education i.e. the Proddy School! That is all he has got!
Trained as an accountant, now a high-class gambler for Mr. Desmond, who obviously likes a punt!
Well, he has surely got one in Lawwell and he know’s it!

His local Comprehensive Bellarmine Secondary was named after
St Robert Bellarmine. My former school.
The ‘St’ part of the name was dropped as part of Glasgow City Corporation’s
policy to counter religious and racial bigotry in Employment recruitment,
As in ‘ whit school did ye go tae’.
If you use Google try digging a bit deeper.
He was in my younger brothers year.

I don’t need Google to know he’s a megalomaniac, an accountant turned gambler and that he is bad for Celtic. He, who appointed Lennon, an obvious gamblers gamble, who lost us Ten-in- a Row!

Expect big Alfoodo to start endorsing all things Italian in the coming days ! Ice cream ,pasta ,pizza ,fine wines ,meat balls , calamari and all the other nice Mediterranean food stuffs ! All in the name of playing cultured football and not for dietary purposes ,of course !

What about Dukla pumperston, heard they’re in the running too.

  • Tony B says:

El Gordo wouldn’t last 5 minutes in Serie A. Any club stupid enough to play him would be targeted by their own supporters, as would the Fat Boy coke sniffer.
