‘Disgraceful article’ ‘not bought a paper in 20 years!’ ‘Two wrongs make a right’ Celtic fans set the record straight over Jackson claims

The Daily Record certainly got plenty of feedback and interaction to Keith Jackson’s latest attack on Ange Postecoglou.

Last Monday the Celtic boss was accused of wallowing in self pity, this weeks he has apparently been fuelling paranoia!

After Postecoglou had made rationed points about the implementation of VAR his comments were predictably followed by media calls about paranoia and conspiracies. Don’t take a look at the baffling incidents and non-decisions.

It seems that a look at the 10 rounds of SPFL fixtures with VAR in operation was too much like hard work.

Failing that publishing a table of penalties conceded would highlight how the SPFL leaders have had five penalties awarded against them while the side in second place have yet to have a single penalty awarded against them.

Celtic may have benefited from one dubious decision on Saturday, according to Jackson that kills off the debate about the handball incidents involving Connor Goldson, Michael Smith, Alexandro Beranabei and Matt O’Riley while the offside decisions given against Liel Abada against Hearts and Livingston don’t matter since Celtic won the matches anyway.

And the use of a long distance camera to justify disallowing a ‘goal’ from Jota is just one of those things that balance out over the course of a season, obviously.

Tomorrow Celtic will give the Daily Record and other newspapers a special invite to preview Wednesday’s game against St Mirren, perhaps Jackson can put his points directly to Postecoglou?

Are you satisfied with way Celtic have dealt with the VAR issues highlighted by Ange?

Yes, working quietly in the background is the way to go

No, these issues need challenged in public at every turn
