‘Done a wee bit of research on it’ threatens to become almost as iconic as ‘Shut yer hole fat boy’ after a clip from Rangers Rabble went viral last night.
Rangers Rabble is a popular podcast among Ibrox fans, boasting more than two million views on You Tube alone as they debate the cutting issues among fellow bears.
In mid-afternoon transfer specialist Alan Nixon revealed that Micky Beale was showing interest in signing long term Celtic target Cho Gue-sung.
An O** F*** transfer battle always makes for good copy in newspapers with one of the bears from the Rabble ‘doing a bit of research’ on the South Korean striker.
To protect his identity we’ll call him Billy, checking out the facts he discovered that the South Korean’s don’t get on with the Chinese which obviously rules out a move to Celtic where Ange Postecoglou has six JAPANESE players. None of the other four presenters stepped in with a correction.
Billy really needs to brush up on his research before he goes live on the Rabble, although from Larkhall/Kilwinning/Bridgeton/Bearsden all of these Asian types are kinda similar.

I believe that the Koreans and the Chinese, although they are allies they do not get on, I think as a whole, done a wee bit of research in it.
They do not get on so you’d be hoping that would be the case that he would go ‘you know whit, I’m giannae go to Rangers’ if he had to pick between the two.

Jesus Christ. Aside from the fact that Celtic’s players are Japanese, not Chinese, the level of ignorance that this fud manages to cram into just a few sentences is nothing short of staggering. North Korea and China are allies. North and South Korea are enemies. Cho is South Korean. Korea has been divided this way for well over half a century now. How the feck did his “research” not enlighten him on this if he wasn’t intelligent enough to know already FFS!!! Also, Japan is not overly fond of China and North Korea – especially as the latter tend to test missiles by firing them close to Japan. They are therefore more aligned with South Korea in regional political matters. I blame the schools.
