Josip Juranovic flew out to Berlin yesterday via what appears to have been one last look at his team-mates in action against Morton in the Scottish Cup.
The defender has been a Celtic player for less than 18 months but it is a time in his career that he is unlikely to forget. It is believed that he left yesterday’s match at half-time to travel to Edinburgh Airport.
After a season in lockdown at Legia Warsaw he was welcomed by 60,000 home fans to Scottish football where he played a key role in the delivery of two trophies.
His 18 month stint included 12 matches in the Champions League and World Cup Finals which inevitably brought him to the attention of other clubs.
“I think he’s been fantastic, I’ve ????? working with him”

Over the space of a week he helped Celtic reach a cup final, made what looks like a farewell appearance at Celtic back then arrived in Berlin on Saturday night to complete a transfer to one of the top five leagues in world football.
Unlike many previous transfers, such as Virgil van Dijk, Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney it seems that Celtic have a manager that anticipated the transfer with Alistair Johnston and Tony Ralston looking well equipped to step in for the Croatian internationalist.
