Kyogo Furuhashi raised his tally for the season to 20 goals in Celtic’s win over Morton but much of the media coverage focussed on a penalty decision after 15 minutes.

It was possibly the least welcome home penalty award at Celtic Park but as Josip Juranovic leaves the club it appears that a reliable penalty taker may have been found in Aaron Moy.

After the Australian internationalist opened the scoring Kyogo took over with two instinctive striker finishes either side of a trademark David Turnbull 20-yarder.

Kyogo and Callum McGregor were replaced at half-time, the pace of the game dipped slightly although Celtic continued to dominate possession.

Mooy collected his second goal, earlier in the half he had hit the post. As well as booking a place in the last 16 it looks like Ange Postecoglou has a number of players in goalscoring form as the second half of the season enters a critical phase.
