On Tuesday Ange Postecoglou’s full focus will be on Livingston, the visitors to Celtic Park on February 1.

Across the media there will be frantic scenes, reporters dotted around looking for movement, agents on overdrive and bewildered players not sure where they will be employed the following day.

Postecoglou is an early shopper. He had three signings over the line before January 1, signed another this week with Josip Juranovic and Moritz Jenz, who both played in all six Champions League matches, now in Germany.

The Celtic boss is a man with a plan, he already has a good idea of what he wants to do in the summer but there is always the possibility of something unexpected developing on Deadline Day.

The Daily Record reports the Celtic boss saying:

But the key thing is we are not going to be scrambling in the last few days looking for solutions. I’m sure there will be some movement. More likely out than in at this stage, but there’s still days to go.

James McCarthy, Yosuke Ideguchi and Oliver Abildgaard seem the most likely to be on the move with six midfielders ahead of them for a place in the side.

Postecoglou will meet the media again on Tuesday, facing Livingston is likely to be the main focus rather than transfer mania.
