Yesterday Nick Walsh completed his working week, assisting with the fitness of Murray Park starlets as a PE teacher at Boclair High School.

Today he will pick up a welcome VAR fee from the SFA as he keeps an eye on Willie Collum’s performance at Ibrox with St Johnstone the visitors.

In 25 domestic match Walsh has refereed the Ibrox club six times, four at Ibrox, once at Celtic Park and one game at Hampden.

With 17 referees taking charge of Premiership matches this season the frequency of Walsh’s Ibrox appointments stand out, even more so with his daily contact with the coaching staff at Murray Park.

Adding VAR appointments adds to the intrigue, on Wednesday Walsh will finish up at Boclair Academy then head to Celtic Park to take charge of the visit from Livingston, his second Celtic Park fixture of 2023.

Var video advantage rangers wake up Celtic board

    • Tam says:

Keep bringing up and highlighting this sort of stuff ….. Because if you don’t I can “guarantee” yes “guarantee” the people such as the SFA/SPFL and the SMSM will say “WHY” has this not been brought up “before”…..WHY NOW ….so keep the good work up… Highlight the cheating at every turn…by the way Paranoia (as we are accused of) doesn’t mean we are wrong

  • Scud Missile says:

Stop the BITCHING about the refs your beginning to sound like a broken down record.
There is jackshit getting done about so stop crying.

Editor: No bitching, just highlighting the compliance of the Celtic board in this levelling up exercise.

    • Seppington says:

To say nothing is to accept it If it isn’t highlighted nothing will ever have a chance of getting done…

    • UlyssesGunt says:

Well said Joe … you’re fortunate you didn’t get the “ Benny “ treatment from the socially inept Scud …
keep battering on about it …it’s absolutely ridiculous that this is permitted without being questioned .

    • Scud Missile says:

And as long as Celtic fans continue to purchase merchandise and SEASON BOOKS the board ain’t for doing jackshit.
So it’s the fans complaining, well actually doing more greeting than a Christmas card that are to blame they take no action against the board so the board ain’t doing nothing about the refs.

      • Micky says:

Another cvnt that wants Celtic supporters to punish Celtic financially, for what?

That would only benefit Sevco Rangers!!!!

This country is a cesspit of orange cunts.HH

I saw Walsh, aka the Little Snotter, in thesupermarket, short trousers and all. I nearly asked him
“Did Ye’r Mammy Send Ye Oot Fir A Message, Son”!
Seems that he’s a very regular face around the ten year old club. Maybe they’re just weaning the club and a small, familiar figure adds to their sense of purpose?!

  • Tambhoy1. says:

Celtic should be complaining as a board threatening the sfa that they going to do what the bunnet did your taking them to court with all.the evidence they have

Editor: The silent acceptance of all this by the Celtic board- Lawwell, Nicholson, Bankier- is the biggest issue in all this. The issues of 2012 will impact our club as long as anyone involved then stays on board.
