Forest Green Rovers appear to be in the dark about the £350,000 signing of Charlie McCann.

According to a number of Scottish media outlets the Sevco midfielder has been sold to a club that hasn’t paid a transfer fee in more the last 10 years.

Former Celts Dylan McGeouch, Ross Doolan and Regan Hendry are all on the books of the League One strugglers but according to Transfermarkt their entire squad has been assembled on free transfers and for undisclosed fees. At this level an undisclosed fee is usually paying out the remainder of a contract.

Strangely the Forest Green Rovers website has still to announce the exciting capture of the Murray Park starlet and current Northern Irish internationalist.
