Micky Beale has burst the Ibrox transfer balloon by announcing that there will be no announcements today or tomorrow.
Late on Thursday afternoon there was a frenzy of activity over claims that a deal had been agreed with Norwich to sign Todd Cantwell.
Terms with the player and passing a medical would still have to be negotiated but it seems like the sight of someone with blonde hair at Glasgow Airport was enough to get the sports desk at the Daily Record freshening up their ‘jets in’ headline for any Ibrox signing from outside of Scotland.

Beale then went on to not comment on Nicolas Raskin, like every other player in the universe he knows every last detail about the Belgian midfielder
Next up he explained how he was doing business in private but in South Wales (Swansea, Morgan Whittaker) they were speaking out about failed offers from Ibrox.
Nufink will be announced before this game (tomorrow against St Johnstone).
