Making just his fourth appearance of the season, all off the bench, Kemar Roofe lasted barely 40 minutes at Hampden before picking up his latest injury.

The former Leeds United striker did score the winning goal in the Viaplay Cup semi-final but it came at a cost with the substitute substituted.

Roofe took a spectacular tumble as Liam Scales challenged for the ball then lay motionless on the ground as Aberdeen pushed up the other end of the pitch.

As soon as the physios got on it was clear that Roofe would have to come off, when he got up to leave the pitch there was clearly a problem with his left arm although it has been denied that he suffered a dislocation.

Alfredo Morelos started the match, lasting 74 minutes with Antonio Colak failing to make the matchday squad.
