Steven McLean and Andrew Dallas teamed up for Celtic match

Steven McLean will referee Celtic’s re-arranged match with St Mirren next Wednesday.

The Glasgow based whistler was in charge of Sunday’s match at Tannadice where Conor Goldson escaped unpunished from another claim of handball in the penalty area.

McLean was in charge of the away win at Tannadice in August and the home win over Hibs in October, following the World Cup break he was in charge at Aberdeen when a late goal from Callum McGregor secured full points for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Wednesday’s match will be McLean’s ninth Premiership match, his fourth this season involving Celtic, not including his VAR role in the win at Hearts in October.

Celtic will be looking for revenge on their only SPFL defeat of the season when the Paisley side visit Glasgow’s east end.

Overseeing the match on VAR duty will be Andrew Dallas who appears to have retired from active refereeing to concentrate on his VAR role. Mike Roncone will be the fourth official, Willie Collum will referee Saturday’s Viaplay Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock at Hampden.
