A first half double from Kyogo Furuhashi took his tally for the season to 20 and took Celtic into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup at the expense of Morton.

Celtic took the lead through a very contentious penalty awarded against Efe Ambrose for handball, showing the inconsistency that the SFA have made standard this season a much stronger second half claim was turned down.

Aaron Mooy scored from the penalty spot in the 18th minute with Kyogo doubling the lead three minutes later.

A trademark 20 yard effort from David Turnbull put the tie beyond Morton before some predatory work from Kyogo made it 4-0 before half time.

Ange Postecoglou replaced Kyogo and Callum McGregor at the break with Sead Haksabanovic and Tomoki Iwata, the pace dropped in the second half with Mooy completing the scoring in the 84th minute.
