Chris Sutton is waiting to see if the SFA take retrospective action on Ryan Kent punching out at Liam Scales during Sunday’s Viaplay Cup semi-final.
Soon after Anthony Stewart was sent off the Ibrox winger raised both hands at the on loan Celtic defender, just outside the centre circle.
The incident was missed by eagle-eyed Nick Walsh with Alan Muir on VAR duty opting out of highlighting the incident. VAR may or may not have been working at the time.
Sutton was a notable absentee from the Viaplay line up over the weekend coverage from Hampden.
Rory Hamilton was on commentary for both matches, Emma Dodds presented from Hampden with Ally McCoist, Stephen Craigan, Michael Stewart, John Hartson and Alan Hutton as pundits.
It’s Kent. Therefore it’s a “coming together & Scales ran on to his fist! Both of them”!

If that isn’t a punch I don’t know what is pic.twitter.com/OBxqFbQwat

Is VAR just an expensive White Elephant, not being used for the purpose it was invented for. Human bias and errors still creeping into the game. VAR is only as good as the people operating them, which leaves a lot to be desired
I love it when the media are all over the killie game like a rash but as soon as Chris mentions something about sevco there’s a meltdown. Touches a wee nerve with them coz they know the score.
