It might have been a run of the mill Scottish Cup win over lower division opposition but for one young Celtic fan it was very much a Red Letter Day.
Dad seemed almost as excited as his bhoy who raced up the steps to look out across the vast stadium for the very first time.
Whether it is Real Madrid or Greenock Morton it is still Celtic Park with a magic and special thrill that is hard to nail down and define.
From an early age kids pick up on the significance of going to the match, the family rituals, where Dad goes, what he watches on the telly, the whole atmosphere, the mix of emotions, the significance and importance of the going to the game.

Aaron Mooy was the first and last scorer on the day, over 40,000 fans were present as Ange Postecoglou’s side progressed in the Scottish Cup, with at least one new fan hooked in to a lifelong passion.
I reacted pretty much like that at my first visit.
I think I was 16 at the time
Nothing beats seeing a child really happy! Hope he had a great day!
I’m the same as the wee man and I’m nearly 70???
