All being well Todd Cantwell will be back at Celtic Park at Easter weekend.

The former Norwich City starlet is believed to be in talks over a move to Ibrox and the opportunity to take part in Micky Beale’s incredible training sessions at Murray Park.

Norwich City are happy to get him off the wage bill, when you are chasing promotion there isn’t much call for a midfielder that hasn’t scored since April 2021.

Last season Dean Smith was happy to send Cantwell on loan to relegation rivals Bournemouth- who were just as happy to return to sender when the season ended.

In pre-season Celtic hosted and defeated Norwich 2-0 with goals from Daizen Maeda and David Turnbull, there was one moment of magic from the opposition number 14.

Cantwell hasn’t played since early November, starting nine Championship matches while Kenny McLean has been a regular with 22 appearances for the Canaries.
