Malik Tillman sparked uproar in today’s Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox.
The on loan Bayern Munich midfielder had already upset his opponents with a staged dive into the penalty box that was bought by referee David Munro and his assistant. Tavpen had his effort pushed away by the Thistle keeper.
In the 70th minute the homeside played the ball out the pitch to allow treatment for Tillman.
The Thistle throw-in was played to Kevin Holt, as he took a touch before preparing to play the ball back to his opponents Tillman pounced, raced in one on one to with the goalkeeper to put the ball in the net as players from both sides confronted each other in the six yard box.
Stop what you’re doing right now and watch this! ?

After the anger had died down Thistle equalised straight from the restart with even Micky Beale embarrassed by the actions of his own player.
Thistle eventually went down to a 3-2 defeat but every player in the country knows that Tillman will do absolutely anything to give his team an advantage, even when it is cashing in on the sportsmanship of opponents.
The right thing to do. Unbelievable the majority of Rangers fans booing the Thistle player.

It wasn’t controversial to allow him to run through and score. Tillman a disgrace in the first instance.
