Ange Postecoglou expects to have a full squad to work with in the build up to Sunday’s Viaplay Cup Final.

When Celtic lifted the trophy last season they were in the middle of a bad run on injuries with Kyogo managing to defy a hamstring injury to score twice, Jota and Giorgos Giakoumakis missed the match with David Turnbull suffering a hamstring injury in the first half that ruled him out for three months.

Apart from Callum McGregor’s knee injury in the autumn this season has been relatively free of injury although Turnbull and Aaron Mooy missed the weekend win over Aberdeen with minor knocks.

Obviously from the weekend no issues from the game. Turnbull and Aaron we expect to join training this week. So at this stage, everyone is good.

With a full squad to pick from there will be fierce competition for places in the team and on the bench.

Daizen Maeda and Mooy look like taking the final two places in the Starting XI with Tony Ralston and Alexandro Bernabei fighting for a place on the bench after being included among the substitutes against Aberdeen.
