Micky Beale has confirmed that ‘new signing’ Nicolas Raskin doesn’t have a work permit.

It seems that the SFA were happy to register the transfer from Standard Liege without the proper paperwork with the transfer deadline closing at midnight on Tuesday.

The SFA have a long established relaxed approach to registration matters at Ibrox while hammering clubs from elsewhere.

Reflecting on the transfer window The Sun reports Beale saying:

I’m really happy with the two boys we got in, plus the injured boys returning. It’s really pleasing, but we have another game on Saturday. We are still waiting on a work permit for Raskin. He was at the game last night watching.

Morton were refused permission to sign Nadir Ciftci who has played in Scotland for Dundee United, Celtic and Motherwell over the last decade, in 2022 he was in the Premiership with St Johnstone.

Queens Park are facing elimination from the Scottish Cup for fielding loan signing Ewan Henderson against Inverness Caley Thistle with the striker signed on loan after the match had been postponed from its original date.

It seems that the argument that ‘they won it on the park’ doesn’t apply to all clubs within the SFA, even the oldest running members.

Where have I heard the words ‘imperfectly registered ‘ before ? Hmmm…

  • Davie says:

Once a precedent is made then that must be adhered to.
But will the corruption in the sfa pay any attention.

  • Stevie says:

The guy ain’t got a work permit so he cant be registered as an employee therefore cannot have been signed before the window. So is this null n void or another carve up by the SFA.?

This is ridiculous, you still count 150 years for a club that died, even when they started in the lower league as sevco, now you are trying your hardest to help them win the league with your blatant blind eye shit that the world can see making a mockery of Scottish football. I as a HEARTS supporter think you should be ashamed. I no longer trust the sfa.
