John Lundstram lasted just 10 minutes of today’s win over Ross County before going down injured and being replaced by Malik Tillman.
The iron man midfielder told a podcast before the World Cup break that he had been carrying an injury but that was denied by Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Lundstram was involved in a couple of early challenges but after tracking back he signalled to the bench, took a seat then went off injured.
Asked about Lundstram’s injury Football Scotland reports Beale saying:
It destabilised us because John is really important to our structure. He was fantastic in midweek. He went to block a shot and he rolled his ankle. It looks like quite a nasty one. He’ll take a scan on that in the next 24 hours and we’ll update after.
New signings Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin both featured in the match with the winning goal for the homeside coming from a Borna Barisic free kick that was heavily deflected into the net by Jordan White.
