Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that EPL clubs are expected to show interest in Carl Starfelt during the summer.
The defender would seem to be behind five or six of his team-mates in any list of transfer targets including Cameron Carter-Vickers who is by a distance the outstanding central defender at Celtic.
During the January transfer window Ange Postecoglou signed up Yuki Kobayashi on a five year contract which might be an indicator of his medium term planning.

Romamo is the ultimate transfer source on Twitter, last summer he was first to highlight interest in Josip Juranovic with the Croatian defender moving to Union Berlin last month.
Alastair Johnston was signed before Juranovic left Celtic, with Kobayashi already in the building there is every chance that Postecoglou is preparing for offers coming in for one of his central defenders.
Celtic paid Rubin Kazan £4m for Starfelt in July 2021.
