He’ll regret that- Micky Beale’s dog-whistle piles more pressure on Neil McCann

During his usual 20 minute media conference, spent mostly talking about himself Micky Beale sent out a not so subtle warning to Neil McCann.

Asked by Lindsay Herron of the Daily Express on McCann’s comments about Alfredo Morelos being an idiot on Radio Scotland the Ibrox boss went into full flow.

Claiming that McCann was actually a friend, Beale proceeded to throw the former Scotland winger under the bus with a large target painted on his back.

McCann’s well publicised financial problems may have played a part in his Tynecastle outburst against Morelos.

It seems that the pay-cheques from RTV are a thing of the past. Since the World Cup break ended the studio presentation has been binned, Emma Dodds is no longer required with McCann, Craig Moore, Shelley Kerr and Alan Hutton no longer picking up money for old rope.

With Sky Sports are no longer interested in his double act with David Tanner it seems that BBC Scotland is the last resort for McCann but upsetting the bears can prove costly as Michael Stewart has discovered.
