Ange Postecoglou has admitted that he ‘has his moments’ when it comes to keeping his players on the straight and narrow.

For the most part the Celtic boss appears a very intensive figure on the touchline, observing everything rather than barking manic instructions at players that are failing to perform.

Some media conference might rile him but after a quick reference to mate followed by a put down he handles the issue with ease and gets his own views across without being side-tracked.

Other than basic, standard comments he avoids going in depth about opponents, unlike a recent addition to the SPFL Premiership managers rota.

Using his temper and anger sparingly and selectively seems to be having the desired effect with Celtic winning 25 out of 27 domestic matches.

The Scotsman reports Postecoglou saying:

I’ve had my moments here, it’s fair to say! People might be surprised because they might not have been at the most obvious times for some people. It’s not about getting angry or having a blast just for the sake of it.

It’s about whether I feel something isn’t as it should be. Usually it’s around – not so much the game or results – but behaviours. If I see a behaviour that I don’t think fits in, I’ll make sure the player and the group knows about it. That’s my role. I can’t ignore it or let it go and be nice. That’s what everyone expects of me.

If someone displays something that I don’t think fits in, I’ll have no hesitation in telling them it needs to be addressed.

At noon today Celtic will be back in action, looking for win number 23 in the SPFL Premiership to restore their nine point lead at the top of the table.

The league is won but as for the cups they are already in the ibrox trophy room as that part of the big fix is on and done.
The league is to far gone now for sevco and their mates at the SFA to have any control over, though the bigger fix is on for next season as sevco the new klub from ibrox will be handed the treble.
The CHEATING that has gone on this season unnoticed and unpunished will intensify next season because they have saw what they have got away with for this season, means they will only escalate to another again next season.
Don’t say I did not warn you all about it,it’s a train crash coming towards us and we all sat back and allowed it to happen, when we could so easily have applied the brakes.

That’s quite a summary of the season Scuddy. The only problem is that the season isn’t over and there is still an awful lot of football games still to be played. The results of these games haven’t been decided yet, unless you know something that the rest of us don’t.
As for sevco gaining the Treble next season, you should really watch what you’re putting in your cornflakes in the morning.

Lol another mug punter that our board just love in total denying of the cheating going on.
Think about those dodgy decisions in all the games this season the next time you part with your cash,be that for a season book or merchandise, your buying into and feeding a corrupt sport.

    Steady now Scud.
