Hibernian were the latest victims of horrenduos refereeing, not VAR, in last night’s 1-1 draw at Ross County.

Leading 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from Elie Youan the visitors looked on course to deliver a welcome win for Lee Johnson, who survived Saturday’s El Sackio clash with Aberdeen.

With 17 minutes left to play the home side were awarded a cormer kick with Yan Dhanda taking advantage of the driving wind and rain to drop his cross into the goalmouth.

That wasn’t the only advantage that the home side enjoyed, incredibly referee Graham Grainger allowed Jordan White to smash David Marshall into the net quickly followed by the ball.

Grainger was happy for the goal to stand, VAR Alan Newlands reviewed the goal/incident and didn’t see anything wrong with Ross County taking a point from the match.

The Highland side are at Ibrox on Saturday, if White tries the same tactic on Allan McGregor he is likely to find a very different outcome with Euan Anderson refereeing the match.

NB: Rangers went into liquidation in 2012, the same year that Charles Green started a Tribute Act.

    That’s a strange one.

Normally, you only have to look at the keeper the wrong way, and the ref gives a foul!

The Ibrox club need every sou, every decision, every piece of propaganda to assuage their predicaments.

Var video advantage rangers wake up Celtic and all other clubs
