Hearts have confirmed that Celtic will be backed by more than 3,500 fans at the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Tynecastle on Saturday March 11.

Over recent seasons the home side has reduced the away allocation to just over 1,200 tickets but Scottish Cup rules require 20% of tickets to be made available to away fans.

With the ticket money split after the deduction of expenses it means that they money paid by thousands of Hearts fans will head straight to Celtic, adult tickets are priced at £30.

Discussing ticket arrangements today, Hearts announced:

Phase two will be open, subject to availability, on Wednesday, 1st March to Roseburn Stand season ticket holders. Due to Scottish Cup ticketing rules, the visiting club will be granted the entirety of the Roseburn Stand. Phase two will allow displaced Roseburn Stand season ticket holders the opportunity to purchase a ticket elsewhere in the stadium. This phase will end on Friday, 3rd March.

The match will be shown live on Viaplay Sports with a 12.15 kick-off.

With almost treble their usual following the Celtic players will experience a notable boost as they go for the only trophy that eluded them last season.

Ange Postecoglou’s first domestic match was an away defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle but the hoops have returned twice to that ground and emerged with full points.
