The Australian edition of the Daily Mail has attempted to drag two Celtic employees into the Manchester City controversy.

Whatever the outcome of the 100 plus charges from the EPL no individual player or manager sanctions will be applied. Any punishment will solely be on the club involved.

The FA charges are on Manchester City but the Daily Mail has added the City Football Group into the investigation.

Daily Mail Australia reports:

Postecoglou has been dragged into the drama due to his time coaching Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan between 2018 and 2021.

Yokohama F. Marinos are also owned by the City Football Group, who in total run 11 clubs across the world, although there have been no allegations levelled at the Japanese club.

Well that seems to be that! Nothing to see here.

It seems that Postecoglou has as much to worry about as Patrick Roberts, John Guidetti, Dedryck Boyata and Daniel Arzani.

Aaron Mooy is mentioned in the report, bought by Manchester City in 2016 from Melbourne City then sold on quickly.

There are very serious allegations in the FA charges that fall squarely on the current EPL champions, any attempt to drag Celtic into the issue is more than far fetched.
