Since last Sunday’s win over Partick Thistle Micky Beale has been revelling in the media acclaim of allowing Partick Thistle to score after Malik Tillman shamefully took advantage of the sportsmanship of his opponents.

In a variety of interviews the Ibrox boss explained the process that brought a chorus of boos around the ground as Thistle equalised Tillman’s goal unopposed.

Watching Celtic piling up trophies and trebles has been a painful experience for the loyal bears with the trophy tally over the last 11 years highlighted during today’s 3-0 win over Livingston.

Beale was part of the management team that delivered one trophy success in nine attempts.

If he fails to lift the Viaplay Cup in next week’s final against Celtic his stats won’t be looking so clever despite the fawning media coverage and likely nomination for a FIFA Fair Play award.

That’s a bit cruel from his own supporters:
Beale doesn’t need more pressure on his shoulders to beat a CFC team, which is flying – with Gio’s team, which has been painfully grinding out results.

Beale and sevco need a reality check.

An emphatic CFC win next, like a 4-0 or 5-0, would make Ibrox simply implode! 🙂
