With another League Cup/Viaplay Cup scoring double to his name there was no other real contenders for Man of the Match at Hampden.
Cameron Carter-Vickers was immense, other players put in their shifts but with two predator goals it was another Green Letter Day for Scotland’s top scorer- Kyogo Furuhashi.
The design of Hampden isn’t the best for interaction between players and fans with supporters behind the goal far away from the action with an array of stewards, police and photographers blocking their view of the pitch.
At the final whistle the Police were out in force but Kyogo managed to skip past a few rows while encouraging his team-mates to do the same to get up close with the fans.
A fitting finale to today’s Celtic – Rangers League Cup Final at Hampden as Kyogo Furuhashi ?? ?? goes absolutely mental during his victory dance whilst Jota takes on the role of Green Brigade / Bhoys capo. pic.twitter.com/dtZxbm1f5x

With three trophies out of four the team that Ange rebuilt is starting to gain a real identity and deserving of comparisons with some of the other great sides of the past.
There are two more trophies still up for grabs with every sign that Kyogo and Co will be back again to Hampden looking to add to their already impressive medal collections.
As I understand it Nick Walsh didn’t include the celebrations as regular time.
