Watch the Kyogo goal that VAR official tried desperately to disallow

Celtic overcame Livingston and some very extensive VAR checks to rack up their 22nd SPFL win of the season.

Greg Taylor and Daizen Maeda put the champions in front around the half hour mark to snuff out the spoiling tactics of their visitors.

Three minutes of stoppage time were added with Kyogo Furuhashi taking full advantage, racing on to a long diagonal pass from Matt O’Riley, taking a couple of touches then drilling a low shot past goalkeeper Shamal George.

And then came the drama. Celtic fans are used to a longer delay to check their goals but this one was special. The stadium screens flashed up a VAR check for possible foul, after clearing that Colin Steven checked for a possible offside, both issues could have been dismissed in seconds.

Finally clearance was given, Nick Walsh restarted the match then quickly blew for half-time with the fans booing the officials off the pitch despite seeing their team 3-0 in front.
