James Tavernier will never be described as a man of words.

The man that wears the armband of dignity will never be able to blah like Micky Beale or Fashion Sakala. Two trophy wins in eight seasons doesn’t really leave much to discuss.

Stringing together cliches in-between saying y’know is more Tav’s style but yesterday at Hampden the serial loser just got completely lost as he introduced the minimums to the football vocabulary, took a look in the mirror, wants to improve and looked for more achievements going forward.
