Five minutes after opening for business there were almost 30,000 Celtic fans waiting to purchase the new Celtic Samba trainers from Adidas.
It had been a very soft launch with minimal coverage on social media but as soon as the new trainers were launched thousands were clicking through to get them on their feet.
In the middle of a fortnight’s break from Angeball fans have latched onto the latest Adidas deal which looks set to sell in massive volumes.
Celtic fans had waited years for a merch contract with Adidas, when two five year contracts with New Balance the three strips deal was announced with four kits launched for the 22/23 season with new items added on a nearly weekly basis.
