Celtic have announced the launch of their new branded trainers based on the classic Adidas Samba.
Back in the eighties when there was barely a dozen or so brands of trainers on the market the Samba was the choice of millions as they enjoyed Adidas comfort and style without having to break the bank.
Just under three years ago Celtic and Adidas started their partnership with fans virtually falling over themselves to ‘rake my money’ as the merchandise hits the shops or to be more accurate the websites.

Yesterday the club teased the 8am release which was quickly followed by a couple of images where fans were showing off the Celtic Samba in advance of their launch.
Throughout today there will be a flow of promotional activities but on a quiet international week the launch of iconic footwear has certainly caught the imagination of fans focussed on their clubs.
