After their two game revival and Antonio Colak’s talk about domination it was back to reality for Ibrox fans today as Celtic took a step closer to another treble.

The draw had provided the People with hope, Raith Rovers at home while Celtic were sent to Fortress Tynecastle to face the warriors put together by the combined brilliance of Robbie Neilson and Lee McCulloch.

On the park Andy Halliday has stronger credentials than most of Micky Beale’s squad with Hearts at Tynecastle the biggest threat to Celtic.

Reo Hatate forced Zander Clark into a first minute save, the opener was barely delayed with Aaron Mooy netting after great work by Jota down the right.

Kyogo Furuhashi showed shades of Moussa Dembele to put Celtic 2-0 in front with Cameron Carter-Vickers completing the scoring with his first goal of the season.

For those bears that stuck with it through till the end it is now just four weeks till Micky Beale visits Celtic Park with Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin as guaranteed starters.
