After avoiding it for the best part of two years the Scottish media are still trying to draw Ange Postecoglou into a ‘war of words’.
A bit of He said/She said makes life easier for everyone as insults or complaints are traded between media conferences and interviews.
Postecoglou prefers real issues, player development- pushing players to their limits, taking them out of their comfort zone to see what they can achieve.
It doesn’t make for exciting copy, yesterday after his side’s spoiling tactics had failed to deliver a point Lee Johnson had plenty to say with criticism fired in all directions after Celtic had clocked up their 14th successive home win in the SPFL.
Hopes of a like-for-like reaction from Postecoglou were killed stone dead but there was one brilliant put down to the noise flowing out of the away dug out throughout yesterday’s match.
? LISTEN: “I’m well aware of Lee’s feelings, I heard him for 100 minutes”.

I’m well aware of Lee’s feelings, I heard them for 95-100 minutes, mate, I can well imagine. They were decisions, mate, all of them, like every decision. For me it’s more about the disruption it gives to the game. We had 15 minutes of extra-time purely on the back of officials’ disruption.
That doesn’t really excite me that much but decisions are decisions, mate, and we have just got to cop them whether they are good or bad. It just felt like a bit of a chaotic game . There was a lot going on on and off the field.
Hibs are very much in contention for third place which will bring a fourth meeting of the season with Celtic and Angeball.
“There was a lot going on, on and off the field.” Treason.
