After his exertions against Raith Rovers on Sunday Nicolas Raskin is an injury doubt for tomorrow’s match against Motherwell.

Since being ditched to the bench for the Viaplay Cup Final defeat to Celtic the profile of the Belgian play-maker has gone through the roof.

Raskin and Todd Cantwell are expected to tear Celtic a new one on April 8 but the new look midfield might not be in action tomorrow at Fir Park.

Discussing injuries, Micky Beale told the Glasgow Times:

Nico has a slight issue, he missed training [on Thursday]. Other than that, Malik has had another week Souts (John Souttar) has had another week.

We’ll have to leave a couple out. With Nico we’ll see how he is [on Friday]. He had a bit of an issue with his quad after the game the other day, but we don’t think it is anything major.

It is touch and go [for the weekend]. We’ll see [on Friday] and if there is any risk it will be a no, but at the moment it is quite promising that he will be OK.

Raskin was on the park for the full 90 plus minutes against Raith.
