After a couple of soft leaks Celtic have confirmed details about their fourth kit of the season.
A video has been released by the club and Adidas for the March 16 launch which draws heavily on Celtic’s Irish origins.
It is an unusual time to release a new kit, already this season Celtic have worn the hoops in all home matches, the mainly black change kit and the less than popular silver/grey kit for both away matches against St Mirren.
When the kit will be worn hasn’t been named, it could be on March 18 at home to Hibs allowing the visitors to wear their home kit.
Adidas and Celtic have released a large number of kits and training gear this summer which demonstrates that there is a market for more than just the traditional home kit, a tracksuit and away shirt.
