Celtic’s bid to lift the Scottish Cup will resume at Hampden on April 30- a day after Inverness Caley Thistle face Falkirk in the other semi-final tie at Hampden.

The pitch at the National Stadium has come in for heavy criticism in recent times with all four sides involved in the Viaplay Cup semi-finals unhappy about the surface they were forced to play on.

For the final the surface seemed cosmetically better but it was still far from ideal as Celtic picked up the first trophy of the season.

The semi-finals will be played on successive days with BBC Scotland showing the Saturday match and Viaplay having exclusive access to the clash of the Glasgow clubs.

Ticket prices for both matches have to be the same, Celtic fans will have to pay £28 for the East Stand and £38 for the North and South Stands.

With those prices the North Stand, facing the TV cameras is likely to be empty for the Saturday match.
