Two nights on from the incident that shocked Sky Sports viewers the SFA have hit Craig McPherson with a Notice of Complaint.
Following a dramatic 1-1 draw in the SWPL at Broadwood Fran Alonso was heading to the centre of the pitch and congratulating players from both teams.
McPherson, assistant to Malky Thomson with the Ibrox Ladies side was seen head-butting the Celtic boss with players and coaches from both sides quickly on the scene to calm down the Ibrox coach.
Monday’s match was the first time that Sky Sports had shown an SWPL fixture live but the post match discussion was all centred on the attack on Alonso.
