Micky Beale is bracing Ibrox fans for a summer of bargain signings.

Splashing out on stars like Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz looks like something from a different era as the former Liverpool u-6’s coach uses his extensive network of contacts to bring in more stars like Todd Cantwell to Ibrox.

After being told about record breaking income from the transfer fees for Nathan Patterson, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey alongside money from the Champions League and Europa League Final even the Gullible & Deluded might start to question what is going on with club finances.

For no obvious reason the Ibrox PR machine opted to give their favourite reports an insight into their summer plans with The Scotsman reports Beale saying:

Good players don’t always cost lots of money – they just have to fit the way you want to play and where you want to move. But I’m really confident that this summer gives us an opportunity to do two things.

We want to have a tighter group and want to recruit new faces and bring energy into it. If you look at Todd [Cantwell] and Nico [Raskin] coming in this year, that wasn’t a huge amount of finance. Certainly, with the salaries we have going out [through players] at the end of their contracts, we have salaries and also some finance to bring in.

Good players are available on loan as well, if you want to go down that route. Malik Tillman was one this year who has come in and been one of the better players in the league.

Tillman will cost £5m to sign on a permanent deal, by the sounds of it Beale and Wilson will be able to snap up three or four superstars for that fee.

Beale has recently been linked with a couple of Championship players out of contract, no-one knows that market better than the former QPR boss.

I wonder if Bealiola considers himself luckier that big Ange ????

The best part of a year in the job and yet to see his team concede a penalty !!!!!

I hate to say it but he is right! Think of the bargains we’ve gotten since Ange arrived, but even long before that we paid less than the dead klub would for players and we still won titles. They spent £12m on Flo while we paid half that for Sutton and I doubt you’d find anyone who’d say they got the better player. The problem for the board at the Scumdome is that the horde equates quality with huge transfer fees and will not be appeased with bargain basement buys, hence the constant need for marquee names like Ramsay eating away at their ever-dwindling coffers whilst delivering the square-root of hee-haw…isn’t it hilarious how utterly thick they all are?

    Fuds.

I have looked at what moley is saying and I believe he is trying to copy Ange in fact copy Celtic’s way. He says they have an amazing scouting crew, they don’t, when they’re high earners leave they will have to bring in 1st team players on a limited budget, maybe 2 will cost 2mill the rest will be free but the wages will put them back to were they are now and if they don’t gell and play like Celtic at a fast tempo then all he’ll will break loose.
