A single image certainly doesn’t tell the whole story but while Lee Johnson bleats to the media about the incredible injustices that his side suffered against Celtic the evidence tells a very different story.

With time wasting underway in the first 10 minutes and spoiling tactics set out by their manager it was very obvious that Hibs had no intention in indulging in a football contest on Saturday.

The instructions to ‘get stuck right in’ were taken too literally by Youan who launched himself at Starfelt in a completely needless attack in the 19th minute.

An early yellow card should have served as a warning but five minutes later he was involved in another pointless contest with Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Johnson’s determination to spoil the flow of the game saw him launch a ball onto the park during first half stoppage time, an action that brought him a booking, wasted a minute and picking up a one match touchline ban.

It was the fourth caution of this season for the Hibs boss.
