Liel Abada is reported to have missed training with Israel on Monday due to a hamstring problem.

The winger came off the bench in the second half of Celtic’s 3-1 win over Hibs on Saturday before reporting for international duty.

Israel are at home to Kosovo on Saturday followed by a trip to Switzerland on Tuesday before the important action resumes away to Ross County on April 2.

In the story about interest from Southampton’s interest in Abada the Daily Mail mentions:

Abada sparked an injury scare on Monday when a hamstring muscle problem saw him limp out of training with Israel ahead of their Euro 2024 qualifiers.

With James Forrest out injured Celtic have four wingers available with Ange Postecoglou ensuring that in those positions he makes full use of his squad through substitutions.

International breaks are always a period of concern, only next Wednesday will the full picture emerge over who is available for the match at Ross County.

Greg Taylor, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Aaron Mooy are all missing out on international involvement due to injury.
