After a 72 minute appearance against Kilmarnock the Daily Record are all in with the great new hope of Ibrox.
It seems that Nicolas Raskin is an unseen midfield enforcer which probably only makes sense to the digital team at the Glasgow based publisher.
For an endorsement it doesn’t come much higher than Neil McCann, the former Dundee manager who is now concentrating on his media career which seems to start and end with BBC Scotland.
Raskin has been enjoying the benefits of the state-of-the-art training facilities at Murray Park but has still to complete a full 90 minutes since his January move from Standard Liege.
Micky Beale was afraid to pitch the Belgian starlet in against Celtic but it seems that a few limited appearances against Killie, Livingston and Partick Thistle have uncovered the midfield enforcer that was badly lacking at Hampden.
A year ago Lundstram was the best on earth, two years ago Kamara was a transfer target for Juventus. Perhaps Raskin could top the lot, just as James Sands was expected to do when Ronny Deila sent him on loan from New York City last January.

Any coincidence that Neil’s claims ( Mind just before the final , he was talking up them for the treble ) are getting more wild since he had a pop at Morelos and the orcs wanted him chucked off deedclub tv ?
Having already sent them James Sands on loan, I have high hopes that Ronny will prove to be pulling their pisser with this one as well…
He’ll go along with Bealiola being a shoe in future world cup winning manager with engurland….

McCann’s a PONCE done more tapping than a blind man’s stick.
“Confused? You will be.”
Sevco’s midfield soap-opera continues this evening: will Ridvan find paradise in Copeland Road? Does Sooty have knees of glass? Is Lundstram’s marble stare powerful enough to freeze Micky’s Baws? Is the Unseen Enforcer the invisible man in disguise? These and other questions will be answered in the next episode of Soap!
