It was the calm before the storm at breakfast today as key members of Celtic’s third treble winning side got together.
Paul Lambert and Tom Boyd can afford to relax a little but Ramon Vega and Stan Petrov will be in the thick of the action at Anfield as the Celtic legends take on some of the finest players to have turned out for Liverpool plus Steven Gerrard.
Petrov was one of the youngest players in Martin O’Neill’s squad, shining alongside Lambert, Neil Lennon and Alan Thompson.

Vega holds a pretty special place in Celtic history, signed on loan from Spurs in December 2000 he played 26 matches for the club picking up all three domestic honours. Only a last day defeat at Kilmarnock in the SPL denied him an unbeaten Celtic record but it is best not to mention that to the Swiss internationalist.
