Liel Abada will watch tonight’s match between Israel and Kosovo from the stand.

On Friday night it was announced that the Celtic winger would miss out on the international double-header with concerns raised about the extent of a muscle injury that flared up in training on Monday.

Celtic will be getting kept upto date on the extent of the injury but won’t really be able to evaluate it until he reports back to Lennoxtown.

I waited a long time for tonight’s game against Kosovo but unfortunately during my first training this week I got injured. Together with the medical staff we tried to do everything for me to be competent in the end, but it didn’t work. Today I will sit together with the fans in the stands and push my friends on the grass from all my heart.

Ange Postecoglou will have to wait and wonder as he gets updates on his players as they are dotted around the globe.

Fortunately Celtic’s game at Ross County has been put back to Sunday April 2 which gives Postecoglou a vital additional day to get his squad together.

There has been no news on the injury that Reo Hatate suffered last week against Hibs, Greg Taylor, Aaron Mooy and Cameron Carter-Vickers were all left out of international duty in order to manage injuries.
