The mediocre career of Douglas Ross touched a new low today as he was taunted by Nicola Sturgeon in the Scottish Parliament.
Sturgeon may be stepping down as First Minister but she retains the ability to taunt and humiliate the list MSP for the North of Scotland who is expected to be toppled as leader of the Scottish Tories this summer.
Ross was humouring his small band of MSP’s by pretending that he had personality and a sense of humour when he was floored by one of the best lines ever heard in the Scottish parliament.

I am very, very aware that for Douglas Ross mediocrity, of course, is a dizzy height that he’s never come close to achieving.
Ross was recently waddling along the touchline at the Celtic v St Mirren Scottish Cup tie when he saw a banner unfurled that got the biggest cheer of the night as derision and contempt poured down on the Tory leader during his latest expense running exercise.
Celtic fans unfurled this banner whilst Douglas Ross was running the line opposite them during their game against St Mirren yesterday.

Mediocrity – a step too far for D Ross.
Useless at every one of his jobs.
