And if you know the history is heard often enough around Celtic Park but for most current players the detail on some historic moments must be a bit hazy.

Callum McGregor has been creating most of the recent history at Celtic, a medal winning machine that sets the standards from the front, maintaining levels that have never been matched at anytime in Scottish football.

Breaking up the international break Celtic TV decided to share some special moments from the past with members of the current squad.

Whittling it down to a couple of incidents would have been a tough task but from Love Street to Anfield via a Demolition Derby and an iconic Champions League night Joe Hart, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Jota and Matt O’Riley were given a brief look into the heroes that they have succeeded.

Back in September Jota scored a pretty special derby goal with a dink around Jon McLaughlin, applying similar technique 22 years earlier Henrik Larsson put the icing on the cake of a famous win that ensured it was Martin O’Neill’s side that created the benchmark.

Hart enjoyed reliving the joys of Shunsuke Nakamura and Artur Boruc against Manchester United, Carter-Vickers watched John Hartson find the Liverpool net while O’Riley got a taste of a special afternoon in Paisley 37 years ago.
