Pictured- Fan gets his hands on the new Adidas Celtic Samba

Celtic are set to launch their own version of the classic Adidas Samba training shoe.

Yesterday the club released a close up image of the top of the shoe, soon afterwards a fan was sharing the whole shoe featuring the club crest, one gold star and three classic Adidas stripes in a lighter shade of green.

Before yesterday’s club tweet there had been no rumours of the club moving into the training show market but with the current frenzy of interest/demand there are bound to be plenty of fans slipping into their new trainers this weekend.

The official release is at 8am this morning which is likely to be followed by a variety of images highlighting the strength of the partnership between Celtic and the German manufacturer.

Over the last month Adidas have launched a fourth kit, Irish themed and a Retro range styled from the nineties. The next major release will be for the 23/24 home kit which is expected in May.
