‘Raskin needs a few months in the gym’ ‘tired badly’ ‘too lightweight’ wonderboy Raskin is slated by Ibrox fans

His place on the bench at Hampden last Sunday caused untold levels of grief for bears devastated by another trophy loss to Celtic.

During his 30 minute appearance off the bench virtually nothing was seen of Nicolas Raskin but Ibrox fans love a myth or an excuse.

Against Kilmarnock today the Belgian superstar got his start, Micky Beale made four changes to his Hampden flops but it seems that Raskin’s appearance didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Cruising to a 3-0 first half lead should have been the launch for an emphatic win to put a dent in Celtic’s goal difference cushion but it seems that Raskin failed to turn up for the second half.

Killie scored on the hour mark through Jeriel Dorset, Raskin was subbed in the 72nd minute with the second half completely underwhelming.

Raskin has had a month of elite training at Murray Park, Beale has a big decision to make on Wednesday if the former Standard Liege starlet can be trusted to start against Hibs at Easter Road.
