Willie Collum will referee Sunday’s match between Celtic and Ross County, his fifth fixture of the season involving Ange Postecoglou’s side.
The Lanarkshire based official was in charge of the League Cup tie between the same two clubs back in August which Celtic won 4-1.
Collum hasn’t taken charge of any of this season’s Glasgow Derbies, with the two clubs meeting again on April 8 he is unlikely to get back-to-back Celtic matches.
With the pre split fixtures approach referees and VAR will be under greater scrutiny than ever at the weekend, following the last round of Premiership fixtures Kilmarnock and Dundee United went public with their concerns over how matches were being controlled.
Steven Kirkland will be on VAR duty for Sunday’s match with Mike Roncone on Fourth Official.
Malky Mackay’s side are currently second bottom of the Premiership, two points ahead of Dundee United and one behind Kilmarnock.

What gets me is why that mob always play before we do ?
I’ve been clocking this all season and on Saturday it’s an amazing (18/6) EIGHTEEN – SIX for them playing first before us… Of course it’s an advantage to play first and always has and will be.
They have Sky in their pockets like Police Scotland, The Courts, Match Officials, VAR Officials, The SFA, The SPFL and The Media in their pockets…
Just another reason why I chucked paying to see Celtic and as usual the cowardly yellow and spineless bar-stewards on our board will do and say absolutely nothing !
