The lies and excuses of Robbie Neilson at Celtic Park

Whatever the scoreline Robbie Neilson has excuses and lies ready to explain another defeat at Celtic Park.

It is a technique that the Hearts boss has mastered with a chuckling media pack happy to publish whatever nonsense he comes up with without any scrutiny.

In December 2021 he was squealing about an offside goal scored by Kyogo Furuhashi that the combined might of Kris Boyd, BBC Scotland and Crawford Allan couldn’t come up with any evidence to back it up.

Back in August, after the usual procession of fouls and time wasting Toby Sibbick and Alex Cochrane picked up second bookings after the 88th minute. It never occurred to Neilson to take either defender off and stick on a stoker with the score 1-0 to Celtic, Giorgos Giakoumakis made it 2-0 in stoppage time.

Last night he was whining about a challenge from Alexandro Bernabei that was similar to the procession of fouls dished out by Cammy Devlin, James Hill and Andy Halliday on a rota.

In October at Tynecastle Nick Walsh refused to award Celtic a clear penalty for handball by Michael Smith, last night the Hearts boss was wanting the same official, now on VAR duty, to red card Bernabei.

I was on the bus going to the game last night and I said.. I wonder what Robbie Neilson was going to moan about and blame for the defeat..he didn’t disappoint did he..lies and selected amnesia…. just a pity he can’t tell the truth when they play “the rangers”

Lol as if he would pick a fight with his sevco brothers.
The Chuckle brothers aka the managers from Livi and Hearts are being lined up as the next double to take charge of sevco so Jobbie Neilson and Martinjail the Poundland Escobar will never complain about anything sevco.

I’m quite concerned that after Neilson’s diatribe over last night’s officiating, that those same officials may feel obliged to make amends for their performances and be ultra strict against Celtic in this weekend’s cup game ! Isn’t it sad that I think of these things ,but the evidence is there to prove me correct in my fear …. Maybe the big Rob is not as stupid as he looks with his comments ,just to plant the seed with the referee and VAR chappies ?

In fairness, it’s not just Celtic he moans about. It’s every single time they drop a point he’s out whinging and crying about how the world and all refs are against them. He’s starting to make the Wibbleman a shining light in the world of integrity.

    GIRFUY YA GOBSHITE

    HAIL HAIL
    KEEP THE FAITH??

Tell you something it should be us moaning look at the var decision for their goal I think he was offside.Neilson has lost all credibility in Scotland. Put him out of the SC and he should get the sack but won’t because that imposter of a club see finishing 3rd and not getting to any finals is a good season. There’s the reason why Scottish football takes a tanking mediocre coaches who are happy to be 3rd or 4th or even just avoid the drop. Did I mention the guys a tit?

  • Mark Stephenson says:

Maybe if hearts tried against ‘rangers’ they may pick up more pts lie down to there chums from ibrox and then try to get something from the best team in Scotland doesn’t really work as celtic is just too good
