Turkish Delight for Alfredo Morelos (again)

Two weeks ago there was a verbal agreement in place for Alfredo Morelos to join Sevilla in the summer.

Today the transfer bingo has switched to Turkey where the chunky striker is apparently a target for Galatasaray.

The Turkish rumour mill is notorious, when it is mixed with 11 transfer windows stuffed with Morelos speculation but light on offers it makes for a potent mix.

After six seasons winning one trophy at Ibrox it seems inevitable that Morelos will be on the move this summer but his form over the last 18 months suggests that a European club are unlikely to put up with his demands and lack of discipline.

A move to Mexico or back to Colombia seems the most likely with just three more paydays before Morelos is free to negotiate his own terms.

Back in January there were far fetched claims that Inter Milan were ‘keeping tabs’.

I wonder what language the verbal agreement was in and if there was a mistranslation.
